Hey Mom and dad,

to day we have a sports event so i am emailing early.

conference was great and i would love to tell you specifics but i forgot my notes at the apartment so may be next week. i will say what i can without my notes.

it seemed to me that there were 2 main themes; agency/choice and the plan of salvation. i really remember elder uchtdorfs talk on Saturday when he talked about slowing down when we have problems. i thought that was interesting. i have had some days on my mission where it feels like i have no time to do anything. those days i am way stressed and i am not a fan of those kind ofdays. i also think it is harder to feel the spirit when are stressed like that too. it made me think of just slowing down sometimes take time to think relax. taking a breather sometimes helps you get ready for the next task. and all of that is revolved around our choices. i dont exactly remember who talked about choices. there were alot. it is so to how we need to choice righteously. we can choose what we want but we cant choose the outcome. they used this with alot of commandments. when you break the commandment that is your choice but the consequence that follows is unknown. one wrong choice can snowball into bigger and bigger wrong choices until we are so deep we dont know how we got into the hole.

last week was ok. we spent alot of time not in our area due to meetings so it was hard to work effectively butwehave high hopes for next week. we found out alot of interesting info about our progressing investigator nihara san and i think this will help us teach him more effective lessons. he probably wont be baptized on the 17th but i think in the coming weeks he will.
