hey mom and dad,
dontworry about the short letters. i totally understand. it sounds like this vacation is the craziest one yet. you sound way busy but it sounds like you are having alot of fun. i am glad to hear that the kids didnt fight too much on the way up to utah. i am glad to hear that grandma price is doing well. i always pray for her. i cant wait to see the pictures from the wedding. i wish i could have been there but i am glad that at least a peice of my clothing made it there. i cant wait to see them when i get back.
so this week turned out to be really interesting but first i need to tell a story about last week that i forgot.
so we were biking to find an old english class student to invite them to a party. on our way we biked past an elementary school. nothing big right? wrong! shcool had just gotten out and there were aton of litle japanese kids walking on the side walks. as we were biking of course i said hello and they all turned and looked at me and started yelling `gaijin!gaijin!` they started chasing me on my bike. it was way funny. i decided to stop and let them talk to me for a little bit. they didnt beleive that i was from america. i finally convinced them that i was from america and once we got that settled they all asked for my autograph. i felt to cool! i had never been asked for that before. it was was awesome. one of the most interesting experiences of my mission up until this last week.
on saturday the 19th i got a call from the mission president. he told me that i would begoing on an emergency transfer that day to sumoto. (the island just south of kobe.) he told me to pack a weeks worth of cloths and to leave that day. i was way suprized. i had never even thought that i would be invovled in an emergency tranfer. so i am now emailing you from sumoto. i dont know how long i will be here. tomorow is the real tranfer call day so tomorrow i will find out what will be happening. all of mystuff is still in hanayashiki so i will atleast have to return to get it. the mission president said that i would be probably staying in hanayashiki so after thursday i may go back but no one really knows.
other than that all is good. in hanayashiki ther should be one investigator that will recieve baptism on the 27. he hasnt told his parents about him wanting to get baptised so once he does that and they say ok he will get baptized. thats about it. this emergency transfer was the most exciting thing so far this week. next week i will tell you what the final verdict is. if i will stay here or go back tohanayashiki or go some where else.
now i have a couple things that i would like to see if you could help me with.
1.can you find me a clear scripture cover. they showed some in some photos in one or 2 ensigns ago. they cover the blue book of mormons. i have one that i use to studyand i would like to keep that one looking kindoof nice. it is the one i take with me to lessons so i will get beat up pretty fast.
2. my comp here in sumoto say the `how to be and extra-ordinayr missionary` book and he wants one in japanese. could you please look to see if there is one in japanese. thank you.
lastly i would like to say happy fathers day! how was fathers day?
see you next week
i love you and thanksfor the emials
