Hey mom and dad,

Sounds like your week was a good one. Stake conference sounded way awesome and way spiritual. Sad I missed it but my week was pretty good. My comp got better and we are back to doing our thing. I have been way tired lately and sometimes a little down but you know what, the lord really does answer prayers we say but prayers of the heart too. I also have a testimony of planning.

Saturday we got home late so we didn’t have time to plan so we planned Sunday after church. We planned to visit some less actives an old investigator and go to a park. The less active was not very nice. Her child actually said that she wasn’t home and started talking to use then his mom came out and told him to go inside and said that they were busy and they would come to church when they wanted to. We actually came to give them flyer to come to our ping pong tournament on Fri. but she wouldn’t even accept that. She kept saying that they were all busy when they were doing nothing right now. I started to bug me after we left there porch. I just don’t know how people can just not come to church or have some bad feelings toward the church. It is a small branch so you can’t really run away from those you don’t like. They will always be there. Anyways after that we didn’t get to meet with the old investigator and then we went to visit another less active but they weren’t home. And on top of that it looked like it was going to rain the sky was a gloomy gray. We had planned to go to the park but i didn’t really think anyone would be there but i decided to go there anyway. We had only about an hour left so we could kill some time and try and talk to any one if there was anyone there. So we go there and after about 2 minutes we find this family who knew the missionaries 15 years ago and haven’t met them since! They were way nice and we talked to them for a good 15 min. They invited us over. Yes they invited us over! That is very rare here in japan. It felt awesome. We traded phone numbers and they gave us there address. I think we will try to go next week some time. That just made the day so much better. That was a little miracle from the lord. Even though the weather wasn’t good i felt like i should go to the park and after a little trial and tribulation i receive a blessing. And what a great blessing it was.

This week has really been a good week. i went crazy on Thursday on a comp exchange and found a new investigator, met this crazy old guy who gave the elder that was with a back massage and did a lot of crazy stuff. It was awesome! And then we got pulled over by the cops. The first time that has happened to me in japan. He turned out to be way nice and he might come to English class. He stopped me to see if I was here legally and to check my foreigner card. There are so many blessings that we can and will receive. All we have to do is ask and then work way hard to get it. Only after we ask and then do will we get the blessing that has been prepared for us.

I love this gospel. When people reject us and don’t come to church I am saddened. It is sad to see someone miss out on all of these wonderful blessings. I wish i learned this a little earlier in my mission or should i say i wish i applied this knowledge earlier in my mission.

Life is great. It is a time to learn and boy is i doing just that. I love you all. You are always in my prayers

Hey mom and dad,

Glad to hear everyone is alive well and that life is still exciting.

Life here isnt too bad either. Life is good. We had 2 investigators lined up to get baptized in the coming week but we had to drop the dates. They still meet with us but some problems came up. Then my comp got sick on Friday so we spent the days of Fri, Sat and Sunday in the apartment. He still isnt feeling well and we have a comp exchange today and I am not sure if we can do it. I hope he getts better soon but who knows. It has been an interesting one with some ups and downs. investigators calling and saying that they dont want to meet any more and so on. But it is time like these that you need to remember the good times.

This weeek I was able to have a comp exchange with my trainer Imai. He is now a traveling ap so he dropped in to see how I was doing. It was a way good experience. I learned so much from him. It gave me more desire to work. We also district meeting went really well I thought. And even though my comp was sick and we stayed inside all day I got alot of stuff done and was able to call some people.

When life is tuff it helps to remember the good things and think positive. I always think of a song by rob thomas i think that is called `little wonders`. It is the theme sone to Meet the Robinsons. When we let problems `role right off our shoulder` we can become more happy. We can realize that we will not always be in this kind of situation for ever. We can have hope for tomorrow, hope for better days.

Sorry this week wasnt alot about the work but the work is going. It goes asfast as you make it. It is a new week and a new chance to make it go.

I love you guys it was great to hear about the little girl named Sydney. I will be praying for her.

You asked if there is any thing I need...well I didnt want to say anything but I am out of deoderant and the japanese stuff just doesnt cut it for my big american body. And my toothpaste is almost out. other than that I am ok. You dont need to rush to send it. I have been doing ok with out it but of course it is just good to have what works best.

love you so much,

Hey mom and dad,

Man I miss slater already. He is the man. Tell him I said that when he comes over. Tell dallis the that he is the O.B.T.

That hike looked way fun. I miss all of that outdoors stuff.

I would love to talk to the Sato family. Is the address an email address or mail address. Mail address would be easier but I might be able to work with the email address.

I got a little email from John today. It was a good one. Short but good. Could you tell him to give me his home address so i can write him a letter. We are really only supposed to email familly and such so I can email him but sending a letter is better.

Well this week was a good week. Nothing too exciting. I am really starting to feel tired though. I have never put all i got into anything. I always leave just a little bit left. which isnt bad but in some cases it is not the best. I have started to but all I have and i mean all I got. I have no time for myself at night with district calls and during the day I a trying to do what I can to talk to everyone and find new investigators. I am tired physicaly but mainly mentally. It feels good. It is giving me a set of trials and barriers that I need to overcome. I have found a love for the hard things. Some times it takes guts to do something you dont feel comfortable doing but if you dont do it you never know what would have happened. If you do it andit turns out good then arent you glad that you did it. even if it is not that great of an outcome it means you can still learn from it. I dont think I would have learned this if I had not come on a mission. I would like to say I would have but probably not. The way I think has changed so much. I am a little more bolder a little more of a go getter. Life(my time as a missionary) is too short. Especially since I really only have 4 to 5 months left. I have not time to mess around and waste time.

I love my mission. I dont know how many times I have said it and I will probably say it for the rest of my life. My mission has made me into a better person and a better priesthood holder and a better member of this chruch. Missions are awesome!!!!!!they are the best thing you can do to grow and learn.

I love you all and pray for you always.

We are really starting to get busy, not busy but like the work is starting to move. We are working alittle more effectively.

Some other news, I got my its time to prepare for you to go home so tell us what airport you are going to fly into call. That was interesting. Sister Pridis in the office my be contacting you. or sending you some stuff. I am not exactly sure what will be going on. But that was a suprise to get that call.
